The Commonwealth of Bahamas, commonly known as the Bahamas is a tropical country with majority of them speaking English. The island of Bahamas comprises of seven hundred small and large islands and two thousand cays, thus forming an archipelago.

The country is situated in the Atlantic Ocean. The total land area of the island is 14,000 km² with an estimated population of around 350,000.

What makes the Bahamas a special tourist destination is its crystal clear beaches which enables a clear view of over 200 feet. It also has the world’s third largest barrier reef.

The climate of Bahamas ranges from tropical to subtropical with a steady flow of trade winds.  For adventure lovers, Bahamas is the right place which can offer them surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving etc.

Since the Gulf Stream is actually located near the island of Bahamas, with no doubt this region is abundant in marine life. Freeport Grand Bahamas

Freeport the second most popular destination after Nassau is situated in the Grand Bahama Island. The island can rightly be portrayed as tropical paradise due to its lengthy white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. Ardastra Gardens

A right place to visit for those who really love the nature. Situated in a 6 acre park, this place has been a home for lots of animals, birds and reptiles especially for the endangered ones. Cable Beach

The most interesting fact about this beach was it doesn’t have any name until 1907. After that when Trans-Atlantic cable was laid between Bahamas to Florida, this beach was named as Cable Beach. Surrounded by lots of hotels and casinos, the beach offers you maximum enjoyment.

Adelaide Adelaide has a prominent place in the history since it is the first place where the black people settled after the abolition of slavery. The pleasant and calm atmosphere of Adelaide drew millions of tourists every year.
